amazing huh?! For once I'm actually way too busy to be blogging and I've had no desire to do so. Here's what I've been up to this week (sorry, I really hate bulleted posts, but I'm too lazy to try to try and make all my random thoughts fit together in a nice big entry).
My 7 day sub job was supposed to end tomorrow, but I was asked yesterday if I would stay another 2 days. Of course I couldn't say no because the money is good and the job is relatively easy, but it is a boring job, and I was realllllly looking forward to finishing up on Wednesday!!! Just as I thought I was nearing the end too... oh well. Three more days won't kill me. The students are becoming easier to deal with each day, well mainly because I've had to threaten them with detention, but whatever works right?! I know I am not the greatest junior high teacher and I certainly don't pretend to be. I just have the hardest time making sure all of the students stay on task. In elementary classes I can say things to motivate kids like "Wow! I'm so proud of you all, you are really using your time wisely and making good choices." If I busted out a line like that in junior high I'd probably get something thrown at my head. Thank goodness there is no school next Monday. I'm in much need of a day off.
I've been working on my resume and cover letter like a mad-man. There is a Kindergarten position for next year open at the school my mom works at and I'm pretty much guaranteed an interview. Keep your fingers crossed for me! :) This is probably a long shot, so I'm trying not to get too excited, but it would be amazing if I got this job.
I have been compulsively checking my ebay account to see if my stuff is selling. So far I've made 25 dollars and I have at least 17 more coming to me in a couple of days. I'm totally loving it but I'm running out of things to sell. Yesterday I seriously wandered all around my apartment in search of sellable items. I'm addicted! It is reallllly nice to be able to get rid of things I don't want or need anymore though, and make a little extra money doing it.
Shopping! I got some great deals at Gap, American Eagle, and Express (I'm sooooo happy that I now have a mall 7 minutes away). I LOVE all the sales after Christmas. I bought some amazingly cheap sweaters and found a great pair of jeans, not on sale, but probably the best fitting jeans I've found in a long time! I used to HATE Gap jeans; I'm so happy I decided to try a pair on. Despite all the good sale prices, I probably spent more than I should have...so no more shopping for me until it is spring clothes time!
I've had an amazingly productive couple of weeks. I have watched very little TV, done lots of laundry and cleaning, and worked between 8-10 hours each day. I'm angry I haven't worked out AT ALL, but there is only so much a person can do in a day I guess. Thank goodness tomorrow is Wednesday...the week is allllllmost over.

Sounds like a lot of good news. I'll have to check out your ebay stuff.
Do you want some of my old stuff to sell?
