*I made it through my 9 days of subbing in the junior high...yay for me! The paycheck I will receive from this job will be my largest paycheck yet! Pretty sad that I've never once worked 9 straight days (full-time). I'm happy I took the job, I actually ended up enjoying it a bit toward the end.
*I got a 52 cent raise at job #2 (finally!) and a thank you card with 2 Caribou giftcards inside. I have no idea what I am being thanked for...but I'll take it!
*This week I received 2 calls from teachers I've subbed for in the past asking me to come back and sub for them again. It definitely makes me happy knowing that these teachers liked me enough to take the time to call me personally and arrange something when it's really WAY easier to just call the sub-line and get a random sub.
*I made another $41 this week on ebay and my auctions aren't even up yet. That brings my new total to $65 in a week and a half!! Amazing huh?! Especially because I am not selling anything spectacular...just old clothes, dvds, and Catch Phrase (Andy bought me the electronic version, so I don't need both). In stores I think Catch Phrase goes for about $20, so my starting price was $6 and it has been bid up to $19.50 (and the auction isn't even over yet)!! Crazy huh!?! With shipping, the buyer is going to spend much more than if he/she would have just bought a new game at Target!
*The Office and The OC were new last night! I LIVE for those shows! I was furious when I found out The OC switched times though, now it conflicts with The Office! I had to jump back and forth during commercials so that wasn't too fun, but The Office was HILARIOUS....the best episode I've seen all season! If you don't watch this show you are missing out. The writer's are amazingly creative and funny.
Michael: [in the bathroom] Help! Help me!
Toby: [at the bathroom door] What happened?
Michael: I fell off the toilet...caught between the toilet and the wall.
Toby: What do you need?
Michael: Ugh, not you. Someone else...get Pam!
Toby: I don't think Pam's gonna want to come into the men's room.
Michael: Get Ryan! He needs to lift me! And he needs to clean me up a little bit...bring a wet towel.
Ryan: [shaking his head and signaling to Toby]
Toby: Ryan is, uh dead...can you get up yourself? You only grilled your foot...
*I'm seeing Brokeback Mountain tonight with the girls...finally! I've been dying to see it since the minute I saw the preview. It's been a while since we've had a girls night, so I'm very much looking forward to it. The perfect end to a good week!

I'm so glad that we saw that movie!! I really enjoyed it, and it has been a long time since I cried that much at a movie. I was really feeling emotionally drained at whereever we went after. We need to do that more often.
Hee! I've never watched The Office, but that scene sounds so funny I think I'll have to check it out. I laughed out loud at "clean me up a little bit."
