I am so bored that I am reading my blog archives. Am I the only one who does this?! I can't be. Anyway, in January 2008 I set some goals for myself, and amazingly I ended up accomplishing some of them! Because that rarely happens, I needed to blog about it.
Here is my list...I've added new notes in gray:
(The whole post can be found here)
I would like these to be accomplished 1 year from today.
1. Get pregnant. I would say have a baby, but I'd rather not be pregnant before the wedding.
Woooooo! Done. I was 3 months pregnant in January.
2. Lose a solid 15lbs. My goal weight is 118. I'd be happy at any weight that doesn't give me this big belly. I look like I am having a food baby.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. I lost very few pounds for the wedding, which was ridiculous considering I had that whole summer off. Then I got pregnant, and now I have a fupa. So no. This has not been accomplished and I'll probably never weight 118lbs again. I'll settle for 130 please.
3. Get caught up with my scrafting.
In January I was no where near this goal. Over the summer I got closer. I'm still behind, but the task is much less overwhelming.
4. Get my US Bank card paid off.
Done. Well, it was done in January. Currently there are some charges on the card, but our debt is no where near what it was before our wedding. Combined, we probably have $1500 in debt. Not bad.
5. Open a savings account.
Done. And amazingly we have money in it!
6. Cut Mountain Dew out of my life completely.
That will never happen. Even during pregnancy I couldn't do it.
7. Delete my Myspace account.
Done.
8. Read more.
Check. Twilight. Emily Giffin books. Baby books. I've been reading.
9. Eliminate MTV from my life completely.
Aside from the occasional episodes of Made, I don't watch MTV. How much more Real World can this world actually handle? I'm happy I stopped watching when I did.
Not bad for a girl who gets bored easily and rarely follows through with goals.

You are not the only one who reads old posts, I do it from time to time and I love it. Wait until fews years from now when you go back and read about Isla's first weeks, it will make you cry. It is so hard to remember when they are babies but having memories written down somewhere is awesome!
By the way, awesome job meeting some of your goals! And I totally agree about the Mt Dew - it is impossible to totally cut that out of your life!
