I've been trying to figure out something to write about other than still being miserably pregnant, but nothing really comes to mind. Isla has been sitting on a nerve, causing my whole left side, especially my leg, to be in severe pain. It was almost impossible to walk yesterday. Pair that with my swollen feet and you've got a hot mess of a person. I really do want to enjoy these last days of having Andy all to myself, but it's hard to enjoy when our options are very limited. We have watched a million movies, 1384 episodes of CSI, and 248473 episodes of Law and Order. I've been too uncomfortable and too tired to leave the house. I'm usually most awake between the hours of 9pm-3am. It sucks.
I've definitely learned some good lessons this pregnancy though...
1. Be in shape before getting pregnant. It makes working out easier and I'm sure I would have had more energy overall.
2. Do not get in the habit of eating junk food. I seriously can't stop now. 50lbs is completely unacceptable.
3. Not everyone goes into labor early. Just because ALL of my friends gave birth before their due dates doesn't mean I will (obviously)!
4. Be completely prepared to go past your due date.
When we decide to make baby #2 I will be much more prepared! My biggest mistake was truly being so out of shape to being with, and then just letting everything slide. I know I'd be feeling much better right now if I had taken better care of myself. Oh well. Live and learn.
Now, do I play another round of Poppit at pogo.com or attempt to fall asleep!? Ohhhh the exciting life I lead...

Isla will be here soon! Did your doctor say anything about how long he'll let you go?
I know, it's easy for the rest of us to say, "enjoy these last few days", but I can't imagine the anticipation buddy. Hang in there!
Hope you are doing okay... only 4 left (hopefully less)!! Can't wait to meet Isla. I am sending good labor vibes your way, maybe because you are late you will have a quick and easy delivery!
