Dear Isla,

Your daddy and I are getting very anxious to meet you! You need to come out soon! Mommy's (once tiny) body has become massive, and is taking a beating with all of this extra weight. All I can do all day, every day, is think about you.

You don't know what you are missing out on. The outside world is much better than a gross, musty uterus. Trust me. As soon as you are born we can go for walks, and play with Torii, and read books...it is WAY better than being stuck naked, upside down, in a fluid filled sac.

I know you will come out when you are ready. But please be ready soon! I need to go back to work soon and I want to spend as much time with you as possible before that happens. Plus, I have never been a very patient person, so this is killing me. I really want to hold you, and kiss you, and see what you look like!

If you come out tonight, I will buy you one of those awesome cars that kids can drive themselves. I was never allowed one of these sweet toys, so this is a big deal. What do you think?! Can we make this work?

Love,
Mommy

Isla it is time to come out! Your mommy has been wanting to meet you for too long and you shouldn't keep her waiting anymore. And just so you know those cars are really cool, it is totally a good enough reason to come out today!

Betsy - Hang in there she will come when she is good and ready! Also you need to take another picture (not too many people have the chance to take a 40 or 41 week picture, which I know right now you probably wish you didn't either)!!

Lol, I was JUST talking about those awesome cars yesterday at my parents house, and how badley we wanted them when we were kids. My mom was claiming we all had them, and that they were called Big Wheels, and Ben and I were like oh no oh no, those are not what we're talking about, these things are much cooler, and motorized somehow, and are basically the most awesome toys ever. At least, according to the commercials...

Umm... your blog template is ADORABLE. I am jealous.

Those cars are the BEST. My dad refused to let us have them though. Then, of course, Kaley got a Barbie jeep when she was 2. So not fair.
