I came across these ladies at Moosh in Indy and Hair Thursday and the fun hair contest they are offering (seriously check it out!!)! This is much to good to pass up! Currently my hair is in no way offensive to others, but it is BORING, and I'm getting married in less than 7 weeks and I want to look FABULOUS!
A little history on my hair before we begin this fun journey...
1. My hair is thick. THICK. So thick that my stylist has to schedule me for an extra 10 minutes each time I get my hair cut because it takes forever to dry and straighten.
2. My hair is naturally floofy. It does not curl nicely. Instead, it just frizzes and poofs. The back of my hair is pretty wavy, while the sides are far less wavy. When I use a diffuser and curling creme the end result looks pretty much like this.
3. In fear of actually going out like that in public, I then add curls to my hair with a curling iron, which takes forever! So I rarely go curly.
4. My usual routine of drying, straightening, and adding a tiny bit of curl to my hair takes at least an hour...no joke. And spending an hour on hair alone makes me want to cry!
5. I don't like wearing my hair up in ponytails or buns. I like my hair down. I would never have hair shorter than my chin. NEVER. Not even when I'm 80. Mark my words.
6. Bangs terrify me. You will soon see why.
Here we go.
I'm not sure why my mom felt the need to give me bangs, but they ended up sticking around for a long time. I had no idea how to do my hair back in the day. My parents divorced when I was 9, and growing up with my dad meant having absolutely no fashion sense and horrible floofball hair.
UGH.
HOT!

As I got older, I was introduced to my BFF (my Hot Tools curling iron) and we have been inseparable ever since! You will notice significantly less floof in the following pictures.
My hair has been short:
Long(ish):
Black:

Brown:

Natural:

And Blonde:

but not in that order.
Currently my hair typically looks like this on a normal basis:

My hair is angled in the front and my bangs refuse to grow. Luckily they stayed greased back for this pic. Ugh there is nothing I enjoy about seeing my hair this way!
Here are some good hair days:
Curly

Straight

I've also had red hair, a near mullet (which has caused me to become terrified of layering my hair again), Jennifer Aniston's 1995 hair, and hair that I have cut myself. No need to include those pictures. You get the idea right?
My fiance wishes I could just blow dry my hair and be done! Sadly, this is the outcome:

The floof factor is a little hard to see in these pictures, but trust me, it is there!
So there you have it! The good, the bad, and the ugly. I really need help! I want to look amazing on my wedding day, and right now I just feel like my hair isn't working for me anymore. I'd love something new and fun (buzz cuts and bowl cuts would be my only deal breaker)!
My fingers are crossed!
Please pick me!

I give you props for spending so much time on your hair! Lately I haven't even been able to dry it before I leave the house.
Did you really have to include the picture from freshman year in which I am committing multiple fashion felonies? It does bring back memories though.
Love all the pictures.. and I think your hair always looks good! I can only imagine what you say about mine... I hate doing my hair. And don't worry you will look amazing on your wedding day.. no matter what you decide about your hair (well unless you buzz it all off)!
