Lesson Learned.

On Tuesday night Andy and I decided to go out with a bunch of his friends to First Ave's huge costume party. Check out our costumes. Originally, we were all going to go as people from the office. But that didn't happen. I am a realllllllllllllllly bad Pam.














Knowing I would be boarding a plane and flying to IL the next day, I told myself I would only have a couple of drinks. I have no idea what happened (well actually I do, I had a glass of wine, 4 captain and cokes, and a shot in 2 hours) but I was wasted by the end of the night. And let me tell you, I don't enjoy being wasted, it is not nearly as much fun as it was in college. I was the girl who fell down in the middle of the street, skinned her knee, then got pizza sauce all over her face and thought it was funny. Or maybe I didn't even notice. I don't remember. These pictures make it look like I was having a fun time being wasted, but I paid for it later.

I woke up Wednesday morning feeling like I had seriously been hit by a truck. Not only did my head hurt, my scraped knee was throbbing, and I clearly bumped into something because my other leg hurt, and today I discovered a huge bruise. Shambles. I struggled to get ready and finish packing (I forgot soooo much stuff!) without dying. After throwing up a couple of times I felt a little better, and I was off to the airport. I won't go into details, I will just say that was the worst airport/flying experience of my life. I was dizzy, I could barely walk, and I couldn't even carry my own bag. Thankfully, I did not throw up on the plane. But I was sweating profusely and shaking, clutching the little barf bag in my hands.

I made it home okay and then continued to be sick the rest of the evening. I will NEVER drink that much again. Seriously. There is just no point in being that drunk.
