Happy Birthday to Me :)

Yesterday was my birthday! I had such a great day, I'm a little sad it's over already :) I'm such a nerd...I totally LOVE celebrating my birthday! When I came home from work Andy gave me these beautiful roses. I absolutely LOVE getting flowers, and roses are by far my favorite so I was sooooo happy!

The presents didn't stop there though...he also gave me the sweetest card (which almost made me cry), a gift certificate to get a massage at Spalon Montage, and Sweet Pea lotion, body wash, and body spray from Bath and Body Works that I have wanted forever but have been too lazy to actually go and get. Later on in the evening after I got my hair highlighted, Andy took me to Pizza Hut for dinner and we had planned on going mini golfing but it was rainy, so he bought me a Dairy Queen cake and we ended up eating lots of cake and hanging out at home the rest of the evening!

I think the favorite part of my day, aside from being treated like a princess, was receiving lots of birthday calls from friends and family. I was incredibly happy that so many people remembered and took the time to call. I felt very special :) I got calls from Abb (first call of the day at 8:20 am), Dad, Mom, Tom, Laurie, Alison, Liz, Jolene, Angela, and Donna. Oh, and an email from Alicia informing me that Hulk Hogan and I share the same birthday :) No wonder I have always felt a deep connection to him... ;)

I'm hoping my 24th year will be as wonderful as my 23rd! :) The two things that absolutely must occur this year: I need to get a teaching job, and Andy needs to ask me to marry him...once these both happen, I'll be the happiest 24 year old in the world.
