Things I LOVE (and think you should love too)

It was brought to my attention several years ago by my ex-boyfriend, that when I like something, I can't stop talking about it. He hated how I would think of myself as an "expert" on certain products and try to push them on people. I never once considered myself an expert, but I do feel the need to tell people about things that I love! So I decided to post about all my favorite things that I feel people MUST HAVE!!

1. Big Bumba and Big Bumba Straightener (aka Hot Tools curling iron and straightener). Big Bumba truly saved my life. Before Big Bumba, my hair was a frizzy disaster. I'm telling you, that curling iron works magic. I recently discovered the straightener, which is also AMAZING...together the curling iron and the straightener make an unbeatable hair duo! Seriously, without these I'd be really really homely.

2. Crest White Strips. These mothers are the greatest!!! My teeth used to be INCREDIBLY yellow....I mean, really grossly yellow. I had my teeth professionally bleached, but the White Strips are just as good. I have been using these for about 4 years now, at least once a year, sometimes twice. I have been told so many times that my teeth are incredibly white and it makes me so happy! There are really no excuses for yellow teeth anymore. These strips are miracle workers.

3. Curb Your Enthusiasm DVDs. This is THE FUNNIEST show I have ever seen. Larry David is a comical genius...very very funny. I was introduced to this show by my brother and ended up watching the first 2 seasons on DVD when I was home last week. Each episode is hysterical, and I love that there is no set dialogue, scenes are set up and everything else is improv. Fabulous.

4. The books Family History by Dani Shapiro and Good Grief by Lolly Winston. Both of these books are amazing...very well written! I actually read each of these books in 2 days. I LOVE finding books I can't put down!

5. A gigantic king size bed (with a scrumptiously soft pillow top mattress). I really thought a king size bed seemed silly at the time of purchase, but now it is my most favorite thing ever. Andy and I have soooo much space, I have never slept so well in my life. If I don't want to snuggle, I can just roll away a couple times and have my own cozy section of the bed! Our bed is seriously my favorite place ever...if I'm having a sucky day, you now know where to find me!

6. Rollerblades. Yes rollerblades peeked in 1995, but I recently bought some and I LOVE them. Back in the day I was a huge rollerblader. I would go "exploring" around Elmhurst almost everyday during the summer with my neighbor Caroline. It is so fun and it's also an amazing workout! I used to run outside a lot, but I found rollerblading is an excellent alternative! I am able to cover a lot more ground and workout much longer! I highly recommend heading over to target and grabbing a pair....that's where mine are from and they are fabulous.

7. Clorox disinfecting Wipes. These mothers are the most convenient way to clean!! I keep one bottle in each bathroom and one in the kitchen, perfect for a quick cleanup whenever needed! Maybe it's just cause I'm an extremely lazy person, but using 409 and paper towels to clean the counters always seemed like such a hassle...spray, spray, spray, wipe. Now you just cut right to the wiping! Amazing.

So that's my list. I hope you end up loving everything just as much as I do.

Yup, big bumba will change your life, it changed mine.

Thank god my random dorm roommate brought such an amazing invention into my life. For that I will forever be grateful.

Unfortunately, the triangle cut still happened, and even worse, it was captured on film. For that I will forever be embarassed.

I have to agree with you about the Clorox wipes. I think I must be lazy too, but they really do encourage me to clean more often than I think I would with all the spraying.

I also agree with the Big Bumba testimonial. It's the greatest thing ever...I wish I had a few extras to give out to people who truly need it.

I also love the Clorox wipes...Corey thinks they're ridiculous and he purposely avoids using them. But now that we have 4 packages of them (good deal at Target) he'll start to see the advantages.

The next time we hang out we'll have to watch some Curb Your Enthusiasm dvds...I've heard it's good, but I've never gotten around to seeing it.
