Friday:
-I made 85 extra dollars subbing...which was awesome considering I wasn't able to come in until 8:30 (an hour later than start time) but I still got paid for the full time!
-I got fabulous blonde highlights that I am totally in love with :)
-I hit up the Dinkytowner with Liz. (She has a much better recap of our Dinkytowner experience...check out her blog!) We expected to chill, visit Andy since he had to bartend/manage all night, get some cheese curds and drink, then head out relatively early....that wasn't quite the case. When we arrived, we discovered a bunch of Andy's co-workers from the news station were stopping by to celebrate a birthday. No biggie, I thought we could be polite, say hi, and then head to our own table. Nope...not the case. We were thrown right into socializing with one of the sports anchors, since she was first to arrive and Andy was busy working. From there more people started to arrive, Liz and I got shoved farther and farther into the booth...trapped on the inside, surrounded by strangers. Thank GOD Liz came with me....I had actually planned on going alone at first just to keep Andy company at work, I would not have survived that social situation without her...Lord knows how I love talking to strangers. At least Liz and I got to meet a local "celebrity" :) I could have done without the guy using cheese curds as glowsticks, and the guy with the crazy hyena laugh...
Saturday:
-I slept verrrrrrrrrrrrry late and then also took a nap later in the day. I love sleeping!! :)
-I watched TV nearly all day and didn't even bother showering since Andy would be working the entire night. I watched SNL (of course) and my goodness does Lindsey Lohan look disgusting. She seriously looks like a starving bobble-head with gross brittle hair.
-The only productive thing I did all day was vacuum out my car...but hey, better than nothing!
Sunday:
-TWINS GAME! Seriously the best game I've been to in years! Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, 1 guy on base; we were down by 2 and Shannon Stewart hit a homerun to tie it up! (I'd like to think me sporting my Shannon Stewart shirt had something to do with this.) Seriously sooo exciting! Twins went on to win it 6-5 and we left very happy.
-Desperate Housewives finale...amazing. I LOVE that show, it is fabulous! I have no clue what I'll do without it...it was a Sunday night staple for me.
This weekend went by way too quickly. Why does tomorrow have to be Monday already?!?!
