Catching Up!

I can't believe I never blogged about winning the door decorating contest at school. Those of you who know me know that I am obsessed with winning, especially school contests. Our door rocked...

The theme was "Give up Putdowns". Our school uses the PeaceBuilders Character Ed. program, and every year there is some sort of PeaceBuilder theme for door decorating. Here is a closer look...

All of the balloons have praises in them...so we are rising above the putdowns by praising others. I absolutely love the way it turned out! Notice I did some major trimming of my thighs...I actually look skinny :)

Check out our awesome "ribbon". The kids get extra P.E. on Friday and I get 45 minutes of extra prep! Heavenly. Best prize I have ever won. For the record, my class won last year too, and we got tshirts. I'm such a bragger.

Moving on....here is me at 25 weeks. I'll be 26 tomorrow and I'm pretty much enormous, although this shirt does a good job hiding my belly (not my fat arms though!).

On Monday due to my laziness instead of grocery shopping, I swung by SA to pick up milk, Lucky Charms, and Mt. Dew...you know, the essentials. The manager immediately ran over to me and took the 12 pack of Mt. Dew from my arms. He carried it to the counter and then out to my car! That was the first random act of kindness I've received since I've been pregnant. It was very sweet. He thought I was 8 months pregnant though! I certainly didn't correct him, although I do realize I'm a bit bigger. My step mom is convinced we will be having at least an 8lb baby, if not more. We will see....

I seriously love seeing pictures and hearing about teaching... Sometimes I think about how so completely different our jobs are, it's really quite crazy! Fun to have a different perspective.

You look ADORABLE. I love that shirt! And your arms do not look fat, crazy woman.

Also, I had to click on the picture of your door to make it bigger so I could check out the trimming you did on your legs, and I totally laughed out loud. Hilarious, you look SUPER tall and bean-pole esque. I do something similar in the mirror, I push in the outside of my thighs and think about how much skinnier I would look without those couple inches. We're ridiculous.
