-I have been having weird, WEIRD dreams lately. Some of them are really scary, others just bizarre. I think blogging about dreams in general is boring so I'm not going to explain in detail, lets just say the past week I've had dreams about washing my hair with baby food, having a Hispanic handicapped baby, having a Hispanic nanny with a sombrero, burglars, floods, car crashes...blah blah blah. This needs to stop.
-My baby is the size of an orange this week, although from looking at that animation it looks much bigger. My fingers are swelling a bit and I had to stop wearing my ring. I also don't think I've ever been this miserably constipated in my life. What happened to the days when I thought being pale was the worst thing about being pregnant?! I seriously may die.
-I finally started reading Eclipse and I'm in love once again. I really cannot stand Jacob though. He drives me crazy. I'm totally team Edward. Much, much better than New Moon, THANKFULLY!!!
-My report cards are done and my classroom is organized and spotless! I love that sense of accomplishment. The year is halfway over already...I can't even believe it. My kids took the NWEA test last week and the amount they grew from fall to winter was shocking! I'm so pumped. They grew more in 4 months than my kids last year grew all year. It's all thanks to Reader's Workshop, I will never teach reading any other way!
-I have a local college student coming into my room every Tuesday for her practicum before student teaching. She will be with me the whole day, and she is expected to teach a certain amount of lessons. I jumped at the opportunity since I remember how terrible my practicum supervising teacher was...I thought I could do much better than that woman did for me! This does mean that on Tuesdays I really better have my act together :) Plus, I have the greatest group of kids this year, so transitioning someone else into the room will be no problem. I would have NEVER had anyone in my room last year...I wouldn't wish that situation upon anyone.
-Maybe, just maybe, will I drag my lazy ass to the gym today. I haven't been there since July...nice waste of 40$ per month. My sweatpants are getting a bit tight, so I need to at least start walking a few times a week or I'll be size MONSTER in no time.

I read constipation and I almost starting crying myself... I forgot all about that problem with pregnancy! Don't worry in July you will think that all of this was totally worth it! As for the dreams... and hispanic handicapped baby, that made me laugh. I think you might have to do a blog just about some of your dreams becuase they sound quite entertaining. Also I wish we went to the same gym becuase then we could motivate each other. I have been doing really good for the last month but I know that it won't last! Say hello the the baby for me.
