I was looking for a good time waster and came across this on my old blog. I figured I'd give it another try...
10 years ago... I was 17 and enjoying my senior year of high school. Being a Pom meant I was dancing pretty much every weekend of August-March. I was also taking dance classes and stalking random boys at 7-11 and White Hen in the green Bonneville when I had the chance.
5 years ago... I was 22 and just starting my student teaching in a sixth grade classroom with a fabulous supervising teacher (who I still talk to today!) I moved in with my mom so I could student teach in the Twin Cities. It was horrible. I loved having my own little "place" in the basement, but my mom was seriously nuts. I was still skinny. Bonus.
1 year ago... I was exhausted daily from my first year of teaching, and all of the naughtiness I had to deal with. I was also planning my wedding and hating the month of January just as much as I do now.
yesterday... I had an 8am meeting, taught from 9-4, tutored from 4:45-5:45, took a bath, socialized with the friends Salms had over for the football game, watched Greys, fell asleep by 9:30.
today... Despite going to bed at 9:30, I still couldn't drag my ass out of bed until 7:15. Got up, looked like absolute crap, got to work just before the kids started arriving, told the kids I had a baby in my tummy, had kids rubbing my belly all day and saying "hi" and "bye" to the baby, also got some awesome name suggestions like Jackie Chan, Sonic, Oscar, Gina, and Carlos, left work immediately after the kiddos, went grocery shopping, bought a new coat at Kohl's (200$ coat for 80$! DEAL!), came home, suddenly felt crabby and sad, told Salms to go see a movie so I could be alone, and now I'm blogging and wasting time on the computer! Super awesome Friday!
tomorrow... I'm getting my hair cut and colored and I'm also getting a pedicure. Then Christmas with Andy's family, lesson planning, and house cleaning.
