It's time.

With the morning snowfall, I couldn't resist the urge to buy cozy winter sweaters today. I headed out to Gap and Old Navy and proceeded to try some on. To my horror, I looked ENORMOUS in everything I put on. And it is pretty hard to look huge in a sweater. The image of me in front of the dressing room mirror is burned into my retina. Workouts have become mandatory.

Here are my goals:

1. Workout 3-4 times per week, right after work. If I go home, I will not go back out. Simple as that.

2. Drink more water! At least 2 bottles per day.

3. Eat at least 1 serving of fruit, and 1 serving of veggies a day. Yeah, I'm pathetic. I rarely eat fruits and veggies. I'm more of a chips and cookies girl. Hence my fatness.

My other goals not related to getting skinny, but related to overall productivity:

1. 2 hours of tv a day MAX. Oh God, that sounds bad too. MAN I am lazy! A typical day for me involves lots of tv and sometimes dinner in bed. Sooooo 2 hours per day is really a good starting point.

2. Read every day!

3. Dinner is eaten at the table. Not at the computer or in bed.

4. 10 minutes of cleaning per day will mean far less cleaning on the weekends.

I think I will stop there. I don't want to get ahead of myself. It's funny how badly I can want these things, but at the same time be so damn lazy to actually force myself to do them. I hate being at war with my lazy self!!
