Operation eliminate sausage arms is now in effect...

After a serious Mountain Dew binge this weekend (roughly 4-5 cans per day) I decided I NEEDED to quit. Every time I stop drinking Mountain Dew, I lose weight. Pretty easily actually. When I quit 2 years ago, I dropped to 124. That weight was short lived, as I couldn't stay away from Mt. Dew for long...but it shows just how much weight can be lost! I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought no Dew. I bought 7up instead. The 7up is just supposed to get me through the rough patches. It has less sugar and no caffeine, so I figured it was a start. Yesterday I only drank water...shocker! We'll see how long I can keep that up. With my dress fitting looming (1 week from today...) and my sausage arms still flabbing, I needed to get serious.

So today my body is detoxing...my head is throbbing, I can barely think. That is definitely the worst part of quitting.

Along with quitting Mt. Dew, I've joined My Food Diary again in an attempt to watch what I eat. Since I will be home most of the summer, it shouldn't be too hard to log all of my meals. I love seeing the calories I've eaten, and how many more I have in order to lose 1.2lbs per week. I have also started working out...and my goal is to workout 5 days a week, for 90 minutes. This will require taking classes at lifetime and doing some cardio on my own either before or after class. My body is sore today, I am sort of shambly...but this week will be the hardest...once I'm in a routine I'll be fine.

If only my dad would have just agreed to Lipo....life would be so much easier! ;)
