Quickest update in the world...

I'm at the apartment right now; I'm supposed to be cleaning, but I've missed the internet like you wouldn't believe. I cannot wait until Andy actually calls Comcast and has them transfer our cable...

Anyway, here is the update:

-We are all moved in to our new place and I have 2 more boxes to unpack...yay for me being such a dedicated unpacker.

-Andy bought the coziest couch America has to offer. The original sectional we agreed on would take 6-8 weeks to be delivered, so plan B was find a new couch ASAP because we are instant gratification people. The couch is nothing I would have chosen myself...it's a light grey/stone color, reclining sectional with a chaise lounge...but I have to say it's amazingly comfortable. Since the couch is 100% Andy's, I couldn't really say no, I just demanded I be in charge of accent colors which I think is a good deal. It's getting delivered this afternoon...I'm quite excited to see how it will look in the family room.

-We bought a washer and dryer! It was supposed to be delivered this morning (part of the reason I am not working right now) but those bastards called an hour before and canceled! I was quite irritated but there wasn't much I could do.

-No cable or internet at the house means missing all of my favorite shows and not being able to stalk people on myspace. It sucks. I drag my laptop over to the apartment every time I come here so I can get my daily internet fix. If I miss another episode of The Office, I will kill Andy.

-We bought gold curtains for the living room and light green for the bedroom...they look amazing. I love curtains.

-My Gramps in leaving the hospital today to go to transitional living. Transitional living will determine whether or not he can return to living on his own or moving to assisted living. It breaks my heart to see him in the hospital and not being able to function as well as he did a month ago. He retired from full time work February 17th at the age of 83...I'm amazed at how quickly his mental health as declined.

I think that is all my news. I am off to scrub bathtubs and toilets so we don't' get charged any cleaning fees after we move out.
