Last year I had made 3 resolutions, 2 of which I kept. They were:
1. Lose weight.
2. Help people in need.
3. Be a better, nicer person in general.
Obviously I didn't follow through with resolution number 1. I have no idea why I make that a resolution every year, it never ever happens and it is so generic and ridiculous. I really did try to be a better person and help others though. I donated money to help people effected by the tsunami and hurricanes. I also donated lots of clothes and various household items to AMVETS several times. As far as being nicer goes, I think for the most part I really tried to be a better friend and a kinder person. Well, perhaps Andy wouldn't think so after the water-in-the-bed incident of 05 and various other psychotic explosions on my part, but aside from that I think I did pretty well with that resolution.
This is what I came up with for this year:
1. Be less explosive and angry when Andy does really stupid things or when we don't agree on something.
2. Be less stubborn and more willing to compromise.
3. Communicate more regularly with friends and family.
4. Be more active.
5. *Complain less.
It's probably kinda silly to make so many resolutions, but I think 1 resolution is risky, if you don't follow through, you failed. This gives me a little room for error.
*Requested by Andy after I told him all of my resolutions. 5 resolutions is a lot man; lets hope 2006 is the year of super productive amazing Betsy.

Very good resolutions buddy, I need to be better at communicating with buddies more as well, sometimes I just let myself get so lazy.
One of my resolutions is to comment on my friend's blogs more often. ;)
Happy New Year!
You really inspire me to make some new years resolutions and actually try to stick with it.
