Monday Afternoon Thoughts

*My friends must have much more amazing lives than me because they haven't updated their blogs in quite a while, and I have had nothing better to do than update mine like crazy! :) Seriously guys, I've been checking religiously. Are you all getting together every night and doing really cool things and not telling me?!?!? ;)

*Most mornings I really don't want my phone to ring since I hate taking last minute sub jobs...but today I REALLY wanted/needed a job and I didn't get one single call. Crazy.

*Where in the world is the snow, and why does it look so nice and sunny out?!?! I can't set up my Christmas tree Thursday if it is nice and warm outside. I LOVE the cold and snow.

*Little Earthquakes is by far Jennifer Weiners best book yet! I am addicted to reading it, I have the hardest time putting it down! I enjoyed her other two books but I read them very slowly...in my opinion, this book doesn't even compare to the others.

*I need to start my Christmas cards soon, maybe even tonight. Last year I waited until the last minute and I hated working on them. I know I will enjoy doing them much more with some Christmas music in the background and a cup of hot chocolate by my side. (I do not care how warm it is outside, and if there is no snow...I'm still listening to Christmas music.)

*I have to take my car back into the dealership this week to get fixed. Something is wrong with the engine and it is going to cost me 400 dollars to repair :( This of course had to happen right when I'm 900 miles over my warranty and needing money to buy Christmas presents...grrr.

*I haven't made any progress in my attempt to lose weight and get a fabulous digital camera. I need to go to Lifetime tonight...I'm turning into the laziest mother alive.

*I wish I was still in college. I miss school like you wouldn't believe.

*Right now Andy is on a luxury bus (the kind rockstars have with beds and everything) heading to Wisconsin to see the Vikings/Packers game with a bunch of his friends...not fair. While I'm stuck at home with nothing fun to do and a dog who had the worst anal leakage accident at 5am....all over my leg, and I'm talking seriously my entire right thigh was drenched in anal fluid. So not fair.

*Dave Matthews Concert is on Saturday and we have 4th row seats...I am soooooo excited!! He better play lots of his old stuff though, because I'm so not a fan of his new CD.

*If things weren't so complicated, I'd move back to IL in a heartbeat.

I really miss school too, and would go back in a second.

My other thought is that something must be able to be done about dogs with anal leakage. Isn't there a gland that can be removed or something??

I'm so glad you like Little Earthquakes as much as me. It was also, by far, my favorite of Jennifer Weiner's 3 books!
