I am seriously, SERIOUSLY addicted to Mountain Dew. We're talking 4-5 cans a day...it's really getting out of hand! I decided I need to cut back and eventually give up drinking pop for good. I've tried "quitting" but I always end up giving into the dew 2-3 days later. My approach this time is to slowly give it up...have 1 or 2 a day at MAX, but, I'm not keeping any in the house. There is a Coke machine upstairs in the laundry room though, so I have been known to run up their for a quick fix...but thats getting kind of expensive. So today I got a little crazy at the grocery store...I bought a ridiculous amount of beverages in hopes to distract my taste buds from wanting pop. I bought milk, orange juice, grape juice, powerade, Dasani lemon water (which by the way is incredibly amazing!!!), and bottles of water. I think I'm set!! As long as I don't completely deprive myself from caffeine I think I'll have a much easier time kicking my bad habit!
In other Tuesday news, I only had to work 3 hours today! Working 3-6 was quite lovely, AND I found out that tomorrow I am only working 10:30-12:30! I am quite thrilled because I can layout by the pool and get a good workout in tomorrow afternoon, but my paycheck will be significantly smaller so that's kind of a bummer. Oh well. I'm going to enjoy my time off and not worry too much :)
I'm off to watch The Real World...another one of my many addictions!
